the front desk person was MIA, while my room had an odor that was absolutley unbearable, so much for a so-called comfortable inn. I expected complimentary bottled water or something—what a letdown. Surely one would think that basic service is easy, but apparently, not here. I’ve seen more effort at a cheap motel. Again, disappointing.

The noise levels were a real downside, as there seemed to be constant vacuuming and room cleaning, including during the night. Even after switching rooms, it didn’t improve, with loud footfalls overhead making sleep difficult. The breakfast hours also didn’t align with the early risers, as it wasn’t fully set when announced. Additionally, two inconsistencies with the cleanliness of towels were mildly disappointing—the signs of wear here shouldn’t be ignored.

We had a good stay with our 7 kids! The location made it easy to explore the area. We particularly loved that we could take a short drive to Cedar Point for a day full of rides. The breakfast options were satisfactory, and the spacious rooms accommodated our large family well.
My kids wished there were more activities for families.
